Looking Towards The North - Looking out to sea with the Round Battery of the Castle behind me, not sure of the precise direction as to where I'm looking - but it is somewhere between North West and North East. Image Date: 06/07/2011

Peel Castle Entrance - This narrow entrance is the only way in (there were other entrances many years ago). Be aware that this Castle may not be ideal if you have mobility problems, the handrail on the right hand side is the only one you'll see, there are none inside. Image Date: 06/07/2011

Inside Peel Castle - All off the buildings are in ruins; different buildings were constructed at different times, some over 1000 years old. Image Date: 06/07/2011

Inside Peel Castle - Looking out to sea (approx North West), in the foreground is part of a path that circles the castle outside its walls. Image Date: 06/07/2011

The Round Tower - Believed to be built somewhere between 950 and 1050 AD. Also in the picture is the Garrison Hall - built somewhere between 1580 and 1600 AD. Image Date: 06/07/2011

Saint German's Cathedral - Half Moon Battery is in the foreground, behind is Saint Germans Cathedral. Also in the picture on the right is the Gatehouse Tower. Image Date: 06/07/2011

The Creek Inn - If you are in Peel, then lunch at The Creek Inn is a must, the food is first class at reasonable prices. Locals and tourists who have been there will recommend it. The House of Manannan (out of shot) is to the right, the marina is behind me. Image Date: 06/07/2011
