A Lion On The Wall - Some refurbishment has taken place since I last photographed this section of The Custard Factory in 2005, this lion has been installed, a doorway put in underneath it, the pool in the courtyard has been removed, and The Digbeth Dragon has been removed - apparently the wall fixings required attention. Hopefully the Dragon will return, cleaned, and fixed securely in its original position. Image Date: 21/06/2017

The chimney was painted in November 2013 to highlight the ‘Movember’ campaign, participants are challenged to grow a moustache in the month of November to raise cash towards the fight against prostate and testicular cancer. The chimney has been dubbed ‘Alfie Mo’, after Alfie Bird, the founder of the Bird’s Custard empire and original owner of The Custard Factory. Image Date: 07/05/2018
