Curzon Street Station – Designed by Philip Charles Hardwick, it opened on 24 June 1838 and was originally known as Birmingham Station, in November 1852 it was renamed 'Birmingham Curzon Street'. The station closed to passengers on 1 July 1854 and became a 'goods station', it closed completely in 1966. The building has a Grade 1 listing, meaning that it will remain intact whilst the new HS2 station is built next to it.
